GOOFERMAN is an ever-morphing micro-circus band of klown-fi and auxiliary circus performers built on an entirely unique bedrock of rock, funk, electro, reggae, raggaeton, hip hop, and whirled beat, all parlayed to the audiences of the world courtesy of a new-fangled, super-styled breed of klown. What’s a gooferfix like? Pack equal doses of thump, bang, pow, boom, whomp, and shwing into an Amsterdamian cafe pipe, sneak it into a big top, inhale, exhale, and you’ve pretty much got the picture.

Gooferman’s performed throughout the US. Festival appearances include Vegoose, Bumbershoot, Download, Electric Daisy Carnival, Burning Man, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Lovefest, and Lightning in a Bottle. Banner gigs include sharing stages with 50 Cent, Wyclef Jean, Velvet Revolver, and Paul Oakenfold at the 2008 944 Superbowl VIP Party. And then there’s the purveying of their signature klown-fi through endless local and regional high-octane micro-circus spectacles both above- and underground (including co-hosting SF’s acclaimed Bohemian Carnival with frequent collaborator, the Vau de Vire Society). We’ve shared billing with the likes of Primus, Spoon, Ween, Flaming Lips, Dave Matthews, Gogol Bordello, The Cure, and Devotchka.
